Marco Gadola was until 2019 CEO of the Straumann Group, a global leader in esthetic dentistry. He now acts as one of its board members. Prior to taking on this role in 2013, he spent five years at Panalpina, a world leader in supply-chain management, initially as CFO and then as Regional CEO Asia/Pacific. From 2006-2008, he was CFO and Executive Vice President at Straumann.
Before that, he spent five years as CFO at Hero, with responsibility for IT and operations. Previously, he worked nine years at Hilti, serving in senior commercial/sales and finance-related positions. Mr. Gadola is on the boards of Calida Group. where he is Vice Chairman, and MCH Group. He is also a panel member of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce.
