What brought you to this job?

I am driven by the desire to be at the confluence of healthcare, technology, and investing. MTIP represents a perfect blend of these domains. The opportunity to evaluate, support, and back healthtech solutions with the potential to revolutionize global healthcare is a mission I absolutely wanted to be a part of.

What are qualities that a founder needs to thrive?

Resilience in the face of adversity and an unwavering belief in their vision are essential for founders. The entrepreneurial journey is fraught with numerous challenges, from funding obstacles to the ever-evolving landscape of innovation. Successful founders are often those who, despite setbacks, remain undeterred, drawing strength from their conviction in their mission and their capacity to adapt.

What's your favorite quote?

I am often guided by F. Scott Fitzgerald's words: “The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function. One should, for example, be able to see that things are hopeless yet be determined to make them otherwise.“
