As an Investor Relations & Communication Manager at MTIP, Anja is supporting MTIP's fundraising activities and is focused on creating, delivering, and managing content designed to realise MTIP’s vision and mission both internally and externally. She gained her profound experiences in marketing and communication in the fields of eCommerce, FMCG, and entertainment.
Anja joined MTIP in October 2022 from the Swiss startup Fleyg AG in New York City, where she worked as a Business Development Manager. Educated in Germany, the Philippines and the US, Anja earned a Master of Arts in Organisation and Communication at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern.
What inspires you about your job?
MTIP invests in healthtech companies that aim to leave a positive impact on millions of people. The digital innovations of our portfolio companies that have changed the lives of patients for the better inspire me to contribute with full commitment.
How important is communication?
Being able to communicate effectively is a crucial tool to share ideas, thoughts, and opinions. Strong communication skills establish and maintain relationships. Therefore, I want to connect with people inside and outside of MTIP to bring our purpose and vision to life.
What is your passion outside of work?
I used to be a professional tennis player and played SEA Games and Fed Cup for the Philippines and college tennis as a Freshman at the University of Hawai’i. Although I am not playing competitively anymore, I still enjoy hitting occasionally.
