We are proud to announce that MTIP has been certified as a B Corporation with a score of 107.5.

As a leading impact investor, our commitment to sustainable investing entails the dedication to continuously improve and refine our impact and ESG approach over the last years. We are one of the first movers when it comes to impact and ESG implementation. Last year, we introduced our MTIP Impact Tracker which uses the AAAQ framework which is a concept that can be used to evaluate the effectiveness and equity of healthcare interventions.

This year, we are proud to announce that MTIP has been certified as a B CorporationTM. Certified B Corporations are companies verified by the nonprofit network B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability. We scored 107.5 in the B Impact Assessment (BIA). The B Impact Assessment is a digital tool that examines the company’s impact across the following five impact pillars: Workers, environment, customers, community, and governance. Businesses need to score 80 or above after being reviewed by B Lab Standards Analysts to get certified. Companies must also change their legal status to integrate all stakeholders in their decision-making, and be transparent about their score on the global directory.

“For MTIP, being a certified B Corp means commitment to purpose-driven business. It reflects our dedication to social and environmental responsibility and the prioritization of generating a positive impact in the healthcare industry,” says Sustainability & Finance Manager of MTIP, Rahel Hafner.

Sébastien Chahidi, Director B Corp SME & Community at B Lab Switzerland: "Congratulations to MTIP on achieving B Corp certification and officially joining our purpose-driven community in Switzerland! The company’s commitment to balancing profit with purpose is a shining example of sustainable business leadership. The team at MTIP is joining many fellow B Corps in Basel like Domicile & Co., Ricola and Weleda. Together, they are contributing to the vibrant positive impact ecosystem in the region!”
