Willi Miesch is an experienced entrepreneur who focuses on the medtech segment. From 1998 to the present, he has been CEO of Medartis, responsible for managing the complete operative business. In addition, he is also member of the company’s board and a member of the board of the International Bone Research Association (IBRA). Before joining Medartis, he worked in various production departments of Stratec Medical in Ticino and the Institut Straumann AG in Switzerland and the US. He was also a member of the board of management of a bicycle manufacturer, with responsibility for the entire technical aspects during a period of several years.
From January 2021 to March 2022, Willi Miesch was CEO of Nova, a Swiss provider of dental products. He began his career as a precision engineer and extended his qualifications by earning a degree as an operations technician TS at the ABB Engineering School in Baden. He completed his postgraduate studies in market-oriented business management at the University of Central Switzerland. As of October 2021, Mr. Miesch became the Board of Directors at Scewo, a Swiss startup, which has developed power wheelchair to help people with mobility issues climb stairs.
